AoW Poem

The terrorist group you conversed with,

made child fighters

increase like fish when they see food

Your children are used for fighting in wars

They are responsible for vulgar attacks

Why would you let them fight?

Letting them go at a young age

Knowing that they wouldn’t survive,

doing what they were forced to do

39% died detonating vehicles,

39% weren’t able to live their lives

to the fullest

33% killed as foot soldiers

Your children using weapons

Weapons that are made for adult use

Could you imagine the gunshots being heard all around?

BOOM! was haunting them all the time

People said your child left with a smile

Was that a real or painful smile?

Do you ever regret talking to them

or was it just best for you?

Or was it when opportunity to hit you like someone who won the lottery,

did you go straight for it?
